They say the Japanese personality lives indoors, through hobbies and activities kept secret from their working life and colleagues. When you meet people in their grey business wear you wouldn't know about their incredible hobbies from bread making to mountain climbing, languages to water colour painting.
My favourite time in Japan is the weekend – it's the time when people engage in these hobbies, meet friends and relax in cafes. You get to see their personality. There are always more crowds than you would like, but its a great time to explore new areas with camera in hand.
